Do I need to bring anything with me to my appointment?

Just yourself – but you will need to allot about 45 minutes to 1 hour for your appointment. 

Will you be taking my blood for the pregnancy test?

Paulding Pregnancy Services is not a diagnostic medical facility, so blood tests are not provided.  One Step urine tests are used to detect pregnancy in as little as 7 to 10 days after conception.  These tests are 99% accurate. 

How soon can I tell if I am pregnant?

Pregnancy can be detected through a urine sample as early as 7 to 10 days after conception.  However, we recommend that you wait until you have missed a period to schedule an appointment. 

What are some signs that I may be pregnant?

The first sign that you may be pregnant is usually a missed period.  Many of the early signs of pregnancy are very similar to the symptoms you may experience when your period is on the way such as breast tenderness, fatigue and bloating.
